Nature versus nurture
there is no such thing as gay genes. you taught yourself to be gay. if you are a guy, you are born to have sexual intercourse with girls.
A real muslim's view
I am really furious that someone would sell the muslim name just to justify their actions. snippets of a blogpost from seksualitimerdeka.org will be posted and my comments and correction of the issue will be posted below it. what really ticks me off is that they are involving this with a religion that is actually banning the action in the first place. it's somehow funny how idiots are trying to defend their actions using something which is against them.

Human rights is challenged.
Before i begin, i would like to ask you, as readers to ponder on "what is human rights, actually?"
got any ideas?
eitherway, im here to write on a major concern from my side as a basic human being. as a muslim, human being.
A set of laws have been constructed as early as 1948 reciting "the right to live" as one of the human rights. the law was to prevent any more genocide from happening in the future. it was one of United Nations' effort to counter what was happeing in Europe. Germany, specifically. im sure you readers are familiar with the 1st World War. (you have to be kidding me if you dont know!)

*on a less serious note, LOL if u didnt know :P
Eversince then til today, not even one law have been introduced promoting sexual orientation as a human rights. that is, til today. in relevance to today's situation in Malaysia, a very daring individual has called for sexual orientation as rights to be the discussion of the parliament. what's more shocking is when you find out that the daring individual involved is a she. she goes by the name of Dato' Dr Ambiga.
A little background on her, she was the Bar Council president from 2007-2009. she has been involved in questioning the Federal Constitution for several times and even once question the position of Islam as the official religion of malaysia.
She spearheaded the much famed "Himpunan Seksualiti Merdeka". the purpose of this rally was clear. it was to advocate the freedom of individuals to practice what they feel is right. what they want to be. whether it is being gay, lesbian, bisexual or even straight. it is now a yearly event and gathering. which is not to mention illegal.
now, let's evaluate this from a standard perspective. it's just plain wrong. we all know that a penis goes into a vagina and no other way else. i hope this isnt to sensitive and would just like to put it in short, thus, the above. we are born with what we have and there are certain things that you just can't change. for example, the case mentioned above. if what "human rights"is what they are preaching, then by the same logic, people get to choose their birthdates just because the have certain tendancies towards certain numbers.
this is absurd
now lets go back to my opening question, what is human rights? eversince the new era dawned on us, a lot of things have been leaning on the "human rights" phrase. almost everything from freedom of speech, to now, sexual orientaion relied on "human rights" as a key argument.
Ever noticed that somehow, subtly, what these groups are trying to preach is the untrusting and unabiding to laws and morality. this is very dangerous and have been conspired to be the way how first world countries are corrupting the minds of less developed countries. this is very true and frankly, quite expected from the western powers in order for them to remai in power as other countries collapse in chaos.
Indoctrination of this sort of understanding have been rigorous in the middle eastern countries especially. they want us to get used to not following rules. this is a very effective way to destroy nations. let me depict you an example.
"It is my human rights to not stop at the red light. i am an individual who has the right to do what i want and not stopping at the red light is my right. if i die from a crash, it is my right to die. it does not concern anyone else in terms of my choice. IT IS MY RIGHT.
chaos can easily be set off. although it says that it does not concern anybody, we live in a community where we depend and rely on eachother. accidents can happen from not following the rules and laws created to defend people from their own selves. not many people realise this, but, this is actually a way for toher countries to destroy our beloved malaysia.
ponder on this

Drop beats not bombs
I was really surprised to see the ad campaign ran by Dr. Dre and his team promoting his new merchandise. what he basically introduced was new headphones that was collectively built from patents and discoveries of companies and individuals of previous generations of entrepeneurs. basically, he used ideas that were readily available on the market. as a disclaimer, i have nothing against the rap doctor.
Back to what i was saying, take a look at one of their posters.
As a peace-loving person, i am absolutely with this ad campaign. no, not about buying a set of beats for your entertainment, but, instead of using more conventional methods of combat, why not express disagreement in writing or any other less harmless way. yes, the tip of the pen is mightier than the sword, but, it causes faaar less measurable damages in economic terms.
On a very seperate note, i am not the type of person to get involved in politics. i am far more interested in who's right. its not about the fight of political parties, its about who's right. whether its the government or the opposition, let's open our minds to evaluate information instead of accepting them blindly due to leniency towards a certain political party.
I am here inviting you to join me and be fair towards both parties, government and opposition to accept information and knowledge fairly. a VERY BIG emphasis on FAIRly. and no matter, who's side you're on, never get too emotional in being analytical.
Thank You...
